QORE
Frondio worked on migrating and modernizing QORE’s existing website into a modern Next.js and Payload CMS architecture, with content persisted in PostgreSQL and the application prepared for Vercel deployment.
The Challenge
QORE’s existing website needed to be migrated and evolved into a more modern and maintainable web platform—one that could grow with structured content and a clearer separation between frontend delivery and content operations.
The new solution needed to support:
- Modern frontend development with Next.js
- Structured, dynamic content
- A headless CMS for editors and developers
- Database-backed content persistence
- Maintainable content management workflows
- A scalable frontend architecture
- A modern deployment workflow
The Approach
The platform is structured as a monorepo: a Next.js frontend application and a Payload CMS application, sharing TypeScript configuration across packages.
Payload manages content collections and site globals. Content is persisted through PostgreSQL via Payload’s Postgres adapter. The Next.js frontend renders the public site and is designed to consume CMS content through a clear content layer—keeping presentation separate from content management.
Deployment is oriented around Vercel for the web and CMS applications, with PostgreSQL as the CMS data store. Contact form delivery on the frontend uses Resend where configured.

The work was delivered collaboratively within an existing project workflow—not as an isolated side project.
Coordination included project managers, designers, and other developers. Tasks were planned and tracked in Jira. Implementation followed supplied designs and project requirements, with iterative development, review, and feedback.
Frontend and CMS work were integrated into the broader delivery process, showing how Frondio can operate independently while fitting into a multidisciplinary team.
